A bilateral meeting of the delegations of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Republic of Uzbekistan was held

The session was held between the delegation of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan headed by Mr. Nooruddin Azizi acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, and the delegation of Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Mr. Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry & Trade of the said country.

In the session, discussions were made over preferential tariff on specific exporting products of both states, investment in Termez International Business Center of Uzbekistan, creation of the Chambers of Commerce of each state within the territory of both countries, trilateral transit agreements of Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan; Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Pakistan and Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Iran, as well as creation of economic commissions, along with its subdivision technical committees.

Such technical sessions and negotiations to be continued.
