The 2nd meeting of Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries of West Zone was held

As a result of joint cooperation of Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Herat Province Leadership, Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Herat Industry and Commerce Directorate, Provincial office of Independent Elections Commission in Herat, the second election of the Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries was successfully held in Herat province.

At this election, out of a total of 123 AWCCI members of Herat province, 7 of them had candidate themselves for the Leadership Board Membership, and among 5 of them were able to secure more votes and achieved the membership for future three years.   

A ceremony which was held on this occasion, speakers spoke on the significant of role of women in economic growth of Afghanistan, creation of job opportunities and active contribution of women in economic affairs and wished them success.

According to the regulations of Chambers, Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Independent Election Commission monitored the elections process and the election was successfully finished.
